A True Southern Wedding...

My best friend's older sister got married a few weeks ago and J and I had the pleasure of attending. If I was to picture a wedding as inspiration for my own one day...this would be it! Summer wedding in South Georgia with just under 200 guests. The ceremony was perfect with the bridesmaids in ruffled navy dressed carrying baby's breath. The bride wore a stunning a-line dress with a crumb catcher top and embellished middle section. The groomsmen wore seersucker suites with bow ties, of course! The overall feel was perfectly preppy and sweetly Southern.

J and I matched the Southern feel of the wedding.
On Me: ShopDandy dress, Versona jewelry and Guess nude pumps
On him: IZOD Pants, Kohls Button down, Some designer coat and Ellis G Bowtie.

The reception was amazing! Cotton stems, baby's breath, natural woods and bench swings. It was perfect! The food was amazing and the band was awesome. It was the perfect outdoor reception. We drank, ate and danced the night away. Complete with Krispy Kreme Doughnuts for the farewell gift. I love that the decorations were completely beautiful and elegantly simple. Enjoy more photos of the beautiful reception...
